Static Loading Test

 

SECTION 1: Static Loading Test

 

Test Procedure:

1. Concrete tie shall be arranged as shown in figure.
2. The increment load of no greater than 22 kN per minute shall be applied until the load of 79.78 kN is reached.
3. Held the load for 3 minutes, inspected the concrete tie by use 5-time magnification glass, and then released the load.

 

Acceptance Criteria:

The test is considered satisfactory when there is no visible crack under the application load by use 5-time magnify glass to inspection.
